In bringing 8.4.0 for Minecraft 1.12.2, we celebrate Pixelmon's 10 year anniversary, our first ever release having launched April 21st, 2012. This release is a sentimental one for us, highlighting a decade-long adventure with an ever-growing mission and passionate playerbase. In honour of our community, Pixelmon 8.4.0 now formally (and proudly) includes TCG, bringing endless new gameplay content for @everyone to enjoy. By adding TCG, we aimed to improve and expand our implementation, adding new cards, addressing quality of life concerns, and of course, fixing known issues. This version also continues to fill out the Pokédex, introducing Basculegion and Overqwil, as well as releasing several new LoA forms. Thanks to our battle logging system, this release also includes several move and ability fixes for avid battlers. Developers will be pleased to find we've taken this opportunity to expand our API with TCG's inclusion. Like always, details of the changes can be found in our changelog link below. Much like previous updates, Pixelmon 8.4.0 requires Forge 2860 or higher. 

On our 10 year anniversary, Pixelmon wants to take the time and thank the decade-long history of our Community Team. From wiki editors and support people, to animators, voice actors, translators and modelers, Pixelmon would have never achieved so much without the voluntary and self-less investment so many of you have committed to over the last decade. It seems far too simple of a word, and yet -thank you for your time and effort with a project that started a decade ago. Without you, countless of players would've never known the joys of Pokémon in Minecraft.

Also included with this version is a special cosmetic hood which is usable for anyone who was present in this Discord on the 21st of April 2022, the date that Pixelmon turned 10 years old. You only need to link your Discord and Minecraft to your forum account to see this reward.
